What IBAI-ATP Institution Accreditation Represents
IBAI-ATP Institution Accreditation represents a commitment to ethical leadership, governance accountability, and responsible use of artificial intelligence at the organizational level.
 
This accreditation provides independent, external verification that an institute or organization operates in alignment with internationally recognized standards for compliance, transparency, and responsible AI representation, standards that matter as AI rapidly reshapes education, business, and professional development.
 
Organizations accredited under IBAI-ATP are positioned as credible stewards of AI-enabled education, not merely adopters of emerging technologies. The designation signals integrity, professionalism, and long-term responsibility in how AI is taught, applied, and represented to learners, partners, and the public.
 
The IBAI-ATP (Accredited Training Provider) designation is for legally registered institutes and organizations delivering professional education or training that references or involves artificial intelligence, automation, or AI-enabled systems.
 
IBAI-ATP verifies that an organization operates with ethical governance, compliance oversight, and responsible AI representation, providing external validation of institutional credibility.

This accreditation is not available to individuals, independent trainers, consultants, or sole practitioners. They must apply  under Individual/trainer application.
 
What IBAI Reviews for Institutions
IBAI reviews the organization itself, including:
Legal and operational legitimacy
Public-facing transparency and representation
Ethical positioning and responsible AI alignment
Governance and compliance accountability
Courses, curricula, lesson plans, and teaching methods are not reviewed at this level.

Applicants not submitting a course or program are not required to review the Program Development Blueprint; all other documents must be reviewed and complied with.

Important Submission Notice
All accreditation submissions must be completed within thirty (30) days of payment of the application fee. Applications not submitted within this timeframe may be closed without review and require a new application fee to restart the process.
 
Refund Policy
All application fees are non-refundable.
Submission, review, or accreditation outcomes do not entitle applicants to refunds, chargebacks, or reversals under any circumstances.
 
Accreditation Duration & Renewal
Due to the rapid pace of change in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies, IBAI accreditations are valid for a twelve (12) month period from the date of approval.
 
To maintain accreditation and remain in good standing, accredited entities and individuals may renew annually by:
Paying the IBAI annual renewal fee of $125, and
Completing the required IBAI annual online renewal training(s)
 
This annual renewal ensures continued alignment with current ethical standards, governance expectations, and responsible AI practices.  Renewal instructions and access to required training will be provided prior to accreditation expiration.
