The IBAI-ATP (Accredited Training Provider, Trainer) designation is for individual trainers, educators, speakers, and consultants delivering professional education or training that references or involves artificial intelligence, automation, or AI-enabled systems.
This accreditation verifies that the trainer operates with ethical governance, professional accountability, and responsible AI representation, signaling to learners, organizations, and partners that the trainer meets recognized standards beyond tools, trends, or hype.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following:
Operate as a legally registered business or professional entity
Maintain a public-facing website or professional profile
Act as the named responsible representative for ethics and compliance
Agree to IBAI Codes of Ethics, Governance Standards, and Accreditation Handbook
Not available to institutes, organizations, or multi-trainer providers - must seek institute accreditation.
What IBAI Reviews
IBAI reviews the trainer as a professional entity, including:
Legitimacy and professional presence
Public-facing transparency and representation
Ethical positioning and responsible AI messaging
Courses, curricula, lesson plans, and teaching methods are not reviewed at the Trainer ATP level.
What You Submit
Applicants submit requested documentation in the submission kit, including:
Business registration details or written confirmation
Website or professional profile link
Named responsible representative
Signed IBAI Handbook Read & Agreement Confirmation
Do not submit courses, modules, lesson plans, or training materials.

Important Terms
Submissions must be completed within 30 days of application fee payment
Review timeframe: 10–15 business days
No refunds - all application fees are final
Accreditation Duration & Renewal
Due to the rapid pace of change in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies, IBAI accreditations are valid for a twelve (12) month period from the date of approval.
To maintain accreditation and remain in good standing, accredited entities and individuals may renew annually by:
Paying the IBAI annual renewal fee of $125, and
Completing the required IBAI annual online renewal training(s)
This annual renewal ensures continued alignment with current ethical standards, governance expectations, and responsible AI practices.Renewal instructions and access to required training will be provided prior to accreditation expiration.
