IBAI Event Accreditation is designed for professional events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, and forums, where artificial intelligence, automation, or AI-enabled systems are referenced, discussed, or taught as part of the educational experience.

 

This accreditation verifies that a specific event aligns with IBAI standards for ethical governance, transparency, and responsible AI representation, giving organizers, speakers, sponsors, and attendees confidence in the integrity and credibility of the event.

IBAI-ATP Submission Bundle

Your application includes access to the IBAI-ATP Submission Bundle, which contains everything required to prepare and submit your accreditation in accordance with IBAI standards.

 

The bundle includes:

  • Welcome Letter and Next Steps

  • IBAI Accreditation Handbook

  • Program Development Blueprint (valued at $47 included)

  • Submission requirements for all IBAI accreditation pathways

  • IBAI Ethics Acknowledgment & Handbook Agreement

 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following:

  • Hold an active IBAI-ATP Trainer or IBAI-ATP Organization accreditation

  • Identify a specific event for accreditation

  • Provide a defined educational component within the event

  • Agree to IBAI Codes of Ethics, Governance Standards, and Accreditation Handbook

  • Must be no more than 6-12 hour total instructional event hours.

 

If event more than 12 hours, email support@aiaccreditationboard.org to schedule a time to speak directly with an IBAI support member for a customized assessment. 

 

Event accreditation applies only to the submitted event and does not accredit the hosting organization or future events.

 

What IBAI Reviews

IBAI reviews the event itself, including:

  • Event scope, agenda, and educational intent

  • Ethical and responsible AI positioning

  • Transparency of claims, outcomes, and attendee expectations

 

IBAI does not evaluate event production quality, logistics, marketing performance, or speaker delivery style.

 

What You Submit

Applicants submit event-specific information only, including:

  • Event name, date(s), and delivery format

  • Agenda or session overview

  • Speaker roles and topic areas

  • Intended measurable learning outcomes for attendees

  • Confirmation of ethical and responsible AI representation

  • Slide decks, recordings, or any materials relating to event.

  • Authorized use of the IBAI Event Accreditation Seal (for the approved event only)

Important Terms

  • Accreditation applies only to the specific event submitted

  • Submissions must be completed within 30 days of application fee payment

  • Review timeframe: 10–15 business days

  • No refunds, all application fees are final

 

Accreditation Duration & Renewal

Due to the rapid pace of change in artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies, IBAI accreditations are valid for a twelve (12) month period from the date of approval. To maintain accreditation and remain in good standing, accredited entities and individuals may renew annually by:

 

  • Paying the IBAI annual renewal fee of $125, and

  • Completing the required IBAI annual online renewal training(s)

 

This annual renewal ensures continued alignment with current ethical standards, governance expectations, and responsible AI practices. Renewal instructions and access to required training will be provided prior to accreditation expiration.
